Sheikh Theyab Bin Eissa AL Falahi

He is Sheikh Theyab Bin Eissa Al Nahyan Al Falahi, the ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in 1761. Sheikh Theyab is also considered the true founder of Abu Dhabi Island, and despite this he did not reside there, and he was fair in managing matters, and he took his residence in the Al Hamra Plain, which is located to the north of the land of Al Dhafra. He used to come to Abu Dhabi to see the conditions of the residents, and to settle the disputes between them. He was the first to build a tower in Qasr Al Hosn (the eastern tower) to protect the water well discovered on the island of Abu Dhabi, and he was known for his poetic ability.
