Mohammed Khalaf Al Mazrouei

Mohammed Khalaf Al Mazrouei, born in Madinat Zayed in Al Dhafra Region. After studying in primary and secondary schools in government schools in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, he continued his university studies in the United States for five years, and then graduated with a master’s degree in public administration from Oregon State. He held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Media Company, then he was appointed as advisor for culture and heritage at the court of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and was later appointed to the position of Director General of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, and he was an active member of the organizing committee of the International Hunting and Equestrian International Exhibition. He also founded the Al Saqqar magazine for hunting and equestrian, and was a member of the Emirates Falconers Club, in addition to managing cultural and media works related to heritage, culture and the arts. Mohammed Khalaf Al Mazrouei died on Thursday 11/13/2014 in a traffic accident in Madinat Zayed after inspecting the site of one of the festivals organized by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture.
