Zayed The First

Zayed the First: He is Sheikh Zayed Bin Khalifa Bin Shakhbout Bin Theyab Bin Eisa Al Nahyan, Ruler of Abu Dhabi (1855-1909), known as Sheikh Zayed the First, and Sheikh Zayed the Great, one of the greatest rulers of Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi and the region. During his reign, Abu Dhabi reached its peak of brilliance. He extended his control over all the lands of the emirate, and his influence reached outside the borders of his emirate, and he had a major role in establishing stability in the region, and he intervened in reconciliation between the Emirates and the surrounding tribes close to the borders of his emirates. His reign is considered one of the longest periods in the history of Abu Dhabi, reaching 54 years.
